 MATTHEW RAKOLA and The Learn Projectwere recently hi-lighted in Wonderful Machine Cog.  Rakola will soon be adding the Washington Ringing Society, a group of bell ringers who ring at the national cathedral,  and quite possibly private investigators and a surfboard making shop in Maine to the ongoing project which documents a, "broad range of unusual educational opportunities from across the learning spectrum."


MAX MACKENZIElong-time Washington fine-art photographer, has his first West Coast Exhibition featuring huge 10 foot-long-prints of his well-known color and b+w panoramic landscapes of the American West. Show opens at the dnj Gallery in Santa Monica on Saturday, April 20th, 2013:  6-8 pm. 
 

ADAM WISEMAN'Moving Portraits is a series of approximately one minute filmed portraits that capture a moment of un-guarded introspection. Wiseman uses a combination of documentary portraiture techniques and available technological advances in high quality video to take “filmed portraits” of his subjects.

ROBB HILL is working on a local project entitled Representation Without Taxation. The project explores how Washington, DC functions with the power players, the lifers, the transients and what forms this somewhat stable but very disproportional tripod.
