Discussion with Photographer Philip Tolendano
Philip Tolendano was born in 1968 in London, to a French Moroccan mother and an American father. His art education came from his father, who was a full time artist. He considers himself a conceptual artist: everything starts with an idea and that in turn determines how the idea is executed. As a result, his work varies in medium and ranges anywhere from sculptures to photography.
