Exploring Interspecies Relationships

Robin Schwartz's earned a Master of Fine Arts in Photography from Pratt Institute and her photographs are held in several museum collections, including The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Museum of Modern Art, The Smithsonian American Art Museum, Washington, D.C. and The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. The Aperture Foundation published a comprehensive book of the twelve-year project, Amelia and The Animals, 2014.

Schwartz was one of the ten short-listed finalist at the Hyeres 2010 Photography Festival in France. She gave master talks and presentations at The National Geographic Magazine’s Annual Photography Seminar in in Washington D.C. , LOOK3, The Charlottesville Photography Festival, David Alan Harvey Workshop, The Eddie Adams Workshop and the International Center for Photography. Schwartz is an Associate Professor in Photography at William Paterson University in New Jersey and on the faculty at The International Center for Photography, NYC.
