About the Project:

The screening of In Lorton’s Darkroom followed by a panel discussion with the filmmaker along with experts in the fields of criminal justice reform and prison arts education.

In Lorton’s Darkroom, produced and directed by Karen Ruckman, tells the story of a group of men incarcerated at DC’s infamous Lorton Correctional Facility during the 1980’s who transform their prison experience, and themselves, while participating in a photography program.
